How has the Lord darkened in his wrath
Verse 2
In the day of his wrath
Verse 3
He has broken in his fierce anger
Verse 4
He has bent his bow as an opposing enemy:
Verse 5
The Lord is become as an enemy:
Verse 6
And he has scattered his tabernacle as a vine,
Verse 7
The Lord has rejected his altar,
Verse 8
And he has turned to destroy
Verse 9
Her gates are sunk into the ground:

The elders of the daughter of Zion
Verse 11
Mine eyes have failed with tears,
Verse 12
They said to their mothers,
Verse 13
What shall I testify to thee,
Verse 14
Thy prophets have seen for thee
Verse 15
All that go by the way
Verse 16
All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee:
Verse 17
The Lord has done that which he purposed;
Verse 18
Their heart cried to the Lord,
Verse 19
Arise, rejoice in the night

Behold, O Lord,

The child and old man

He has called my sojourners round about
