Lamentations 1 — GMV
1
Verse 1
How does the city that was filled with people sit solitary!
Verse 2
She weeps sore in the night,
Verse 3
Judea is gone into captivity by reason of her affliction,
Verse 4
The ways of Zion mourn,

Verse 10
The oppressor has stretched out his hand
Verse 11
All her people groan,
Verse 12
All ye that pass by the way,
Verse 13
He has sent fire from his lofty habitation,
Verse 14
He has watched over my sins,
Verse 15
The Lord has cut off
Verse 16
Mine eye has poured out water,
Verse 17
Zion has spread out her hand,
Verse 18
The Lord is righteous;
Verse 19
I called my lovers,
Verse 20
Behold, O Lord; for I am afflicted:
Verse 21
Hear, I pray you, for I groan:
Verse 22
Let all their wickedness come before thy face;
