GEZ'RITES (dwellers in a barren land), a tribe in the time of Saul, who Garden of Gethsemane. (After Photographs by the Palestine Fund.) shared with the Geshurites and Amalekites the land between the south of Palestine and Egypt, 1 Sam 27:8. The name is properly Gerzites, and they once dwelt in central Palestine, as is proven by the name of Mount Gerizim.
