87 Verse 1 A song of a Psalm for the sons of Korah for the end, upon Mahalath for responsive strains, of instruction for Heman the Israelite. Verse 2 O Lord God of my salvation, Verse 3 Let my prayer come in before thee; Verse 4 For my soul is filled with troubles, Verse 5 I have been reckoned with them that go down to the pit; Verse 6 free among the dead, Verse 7 They laid me in the lowest pit, Verse 8 Thy wrath has pressed heavily upon me, Verse 9 Thou hast removed my acquaintance far from me; Verse 10 Mine eyes are dimmed from poverty; Verse 11 Wilt thou work wonders for the dead? Verse 12 Shall anyone declare thy mercy in the tomb? Verse 13 Shall thy wonders be known in darkness?
