8Verse 1Forsooth Benjamin begat Bela his first begotten son, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,^{Verse 2}Nohah the fourth, and Rapha the fifth.^{Verse 3}And the sons of Bela were Addar, and Gera, and Abihud,^{Verse 4}and Abishua, and Naaman, and Ahoah,^{Verse 5}but also Gera (or and Gera), and Shephuphan, and Huram.^{Verse 6}These be the sons of Ehud, princes of [the] kindreds dwelling in Geba, that were translated into Manahath (or who were sent away to Manahath).^{Verse 7}And Naaman, and Ahiah, and Gera, he translated them (or whom he removed), and he begat Uzza and Ahihud;^{Verse 8}and Shaharaim, he begat (children) in the country of Moab, after that he let go of Hushim and Baara, his wives; (and Shaharaim begat children in the country of Moab, after he divorced his wives, Hushim and Baara;)^{Verse 9}and he begat of Hodesh, his (new) wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcham,^{Verse 10}also Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma; those be the sons of him, princes in their families. (and Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirma; these be his sons, the leaders in their families.)^{Verse 11}And Hushim begat Abitub, and Elpaal.^{Verse 12}And the sons of Elpaal were Eber, and Misham, and Shamed; he builded Ono, and Lod, and his villages; (And the sons of Elpaal were Eber, and Misham, and Shamed; it was Shamed who built Ono, and Lod, and their villages;)^{Verse 13}and Beriah and Shema were princes of [the] kindreds dwelling in Aijalon; these drove away the dwellers of Gath; (and Beriah and Shema were the leaders of the kindreds, or of the families, living in Aijalon; they drove away the inhabitants of Gath;)^{Verse 14}and Ahio, and Shashak, and Jeremoth,^{Verse 15}and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Ader,^{Verse 16}Michael forsooth (or and Michael), and Ispah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah⁺;^{Verse 17}Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hezeki, and Heber,^{Verse 18}and Ishmerai, and Jezliah, and Jobab, (the) sons of Elpaal;^{Verse 19}Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,^{Verse 20}and Elienai, and Zilthai, and Eliel,^{Verse 21}and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimhi;^{Verse 22}Ishpan, and Heber, Eliel,^{Verse 23}and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,^{Verse 24}and Hananiah, and Elam, and Antothijah,^{Verse 25}and Iphedeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak;^{Verse 26}Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,^{Verse 27}and Jaresiah, and Eliah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.^{Verse 28}These were[the] patriarchs and princes of (the) kindreds, that dwelled in Jerusalem (or who lived in Jerusalem).^{Verse 29}And in Gibeon dwelled Abigibeon, (that is, Jehiel, the founder of Gibeon), and Maachah (was) the name of his wife;^{Verse 30}and his first begotten son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,^{Verse 31}and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher,^{Verse 32}and Mikloth. And Mikloth begat Shimeah; and they dwelled even against their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren. (and Mikloth. And Mikloth begat Shimeah; and they lived alongside their kinsmen in Jerusalem.)^{Verse 33}And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul; and Saul begat Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.^{Verse 34}And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal; and Meribbaal begat Micah.^{Verse 35}The sons of Micah were Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.^{Verse 36}And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri. And Zimri begat Moza,^{Verse 37}and Moza begat Binea, whose son was Rapha, of whom was begotten Eleasah, that begat Azel.^{Verse 38}Soothly Azel had six sons by these names, Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan; all these were the sons of Azel.^{Verse 39}And the sons of Eshek, his brother, were Ulam, the first begotten son, and Jehush, the second, and Eliphelet, the third.^{Verse 40}And the sons of Ulam were full strong men, and bending bow with great strength, and having many sons, and sons of sons, till to an hundred and fifty. All these were the sons of Benjamin.
