Psalms 95 — ULB
95Verse 1Oh come, let us sing to Yahweh;
let us sing joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Verse 2Let us enter his presence with thanksgiving;
let us sing to him with psalms of praise.
Verse 3For Yahweh is a great God
and a great King superior to all gods.
Verse 4In his hand are the depths of the earth;
the heights of the mountains are his.
Verse 5The sea is his, for he made it,
and his hands formed the dry land.
Verse 6Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
let us kneel before Yahweh, our Creator:
Verse 7For he is our God,
and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.
Today—oh, that you would hear his voice!
Verse 8“Do not harden your heart, as at Meribah,
or as on the day of Massah in the wilderness,
Verse 9where your forefathers tested me
and tried me, though they had seen my deeds.
Verse 10For forty years I was angry with that generation
and said, 'This is a people whose hearts wander astray;
they have not known my ways.'
Verse 11Therefore I vowed in my anger
that they would never enter into my resting place.”
