^{Verse 5}to him who by wisdom made the heavens,

^{Verse 6}Give thanks to him who spread out the earth above the waters,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—
^{Verse 7}to him who made great lights,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
^{Verse 8}Give thank to him who gave the sun to rule by day,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—
^{Verse 9}the moon and stars to rule by night,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
^{Verse 10}Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—
^{Verse 11}and brought out Israel from among them,
for his covenant faithfulness endures forever—
^{Verse 12}with a strong hand and a raised arm,

^{Verse 13}Give thanks to him who divided the Sea of Reeds,

^{Verse 14}and made Israel to pass through the middle of it,

^{Verse 15}but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Sea of Reeds,

^{Verse 17}to him who killed great kings,

^{Verse 18}Give thanks to him who killed famous kings,

^{Verse 19}Sihon king of the Amorites,

^{Verse 20}and Og king of Bashan,

^{Verse 21}Give thanks to him who gave their land as an inheritance,

^{Verse 22}an inheritance to Israel his servant,

^{Verse 23}to him who called us to mind and helped us in our humiliation,

^{Verse 24}Give thanks to him who has given us victory over our enemies,

^{Verse 25}who gives food to all living beings,
