25Verse 1א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.
Verse 2בּ My God, I have trusted in you.Don’t let me be shamed.
Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
Verse 3גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed.They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
Verse 4דּ Show me your ways, Adonai.Teach me your paths.Verse 5ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me,For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·,
I wait for you all day long.
Verse 6ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·,for they are from old times.Verse 7ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships.Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·,
for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.
Verse 8ט Good and upright is Adonai,therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.Verse 9י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·.He will teach the humble his way.Verse 10כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truthto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.Verse 11ל For your name’s sake, Adonai,pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.Verse 12מ What man is he who fears Adonai?He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.Verse 13נ His soul shall dwell at ease.His offspring shall inherit the land.Verse 14ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him.He will show them his covenant.
Verse 15ע My eyes are ever on Adonai,for he will pluck my feet out of the net.Verse 16פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me,for I am desolate and afflicted.Verse 17צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged.Oh bring me out of my distresses.Verse 18ר Consider my affliction and my travail.Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.Verse 19ר Consider my enemies, for they are many.They hate me with cruel hatred.Verse 20שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me.Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.Verse 21תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,for I wait for you.Verse 22Redeem Israel [God prevails], God,out all of his troubles.
