132Verse 1Adonai, remember David [Beloved] and all his affliction,
Verse 2how he swore to Adonai,and vowed to the 'Avir Ya'akov [Mighty One of Supplanter]:Verse 3“Surely I will not come into the structure of my house,nor go up into my bed;Verse 4I will not give sleep to my eyes,or slumber to my eyelids;Verse 5until I find out a place for Adonai,a dwelling for the 'Avir Ya'akov [Mighty One of Supplanter].”+Verse 6Behold, we sh'ma ·heard obeyed· of it in Ephrathah.We found it in the field of Jaar:Verse 7“We will go into his dwelling place.We will hawa ·bow low, prostrate· to worship at his footstool.Verse 8Arise, Adonai, into your resting place;you, and the ark of your strength.Verse 9Let your priest be clothed with righteousness.Let your saints shout for joy!”Verse 10For your servant David [Beloved]’s sake,don’t turn away the face of your anointed one.Verse 11Adonai has sworn to David [Beloved] in truth.He will not turn from it:
“I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.+Verse 12If your children will keep my covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties·,my testimony that I will teach them,
their children+also will sit on your throne forever more.”Verse 13For Adonai has chosen Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking].He has desired it for his habitation.Verse 14“This is my resting place forever.Here I will live, for I have desired it.Verse 15I will abundantly bless her provision.I will satisfy her poor with bread.Verse 16Her priests I will also clothe with yesha' ·salvation·.Her saints will shout aloud for joy.Verse 17+There I will make the horn of David [Beloved] to bud.I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.Verse 18I will clothe his enemies with shame,but on himself, his crown will be resplendent.”
