That means that he was good to them, he made them strong and he called them humans. This is a list of people that were in Adam's family line.Verse 3Adam was alive for 130 years and then he had a son that he named Seth. When Seth was born, he was just like Adam and looked like him too.Verse 4Adam lived for another 800 years after Seth was born and Adam had more sons and daughters.Verse 5Adam died when he was 930 years old.Verse 6When Seth was 105 years old he had a son named Enosh.Verse 7Seth lived for another 807 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 8Seth died when he was 912 years old.Verse 9When Enosh was 90 years old he had a son named Keynan.Verse 10Enosh lived for another 815 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 11Enosh died when he was 905 years old.Verse 12When Keynan was 70 years old he had a son named Maha-lalel.Verse 13Keynan lived for another 840 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 14Keynan died when he was 910 years old.Verse 15When Maha-lalel was 65 years old he had a son named Jared.Verse 16Maha-lalel lived for another 830 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 17Maha-lalel died when he was 895 years old.Verse 18When Jared was 162 years old he had a son named Enock.Verse 19Jared lived for another 800 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 20Jared died when he was 962 years old.Verse 21When Enock was 65 years old he had a son named Methu-selah.Verse 22Enock lived for another 300 years after Methu-selah was born, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 23Enock was a good man who spent a lot of time with God. Enock lived until he was 365 years old, then one day, people didn't see him anymore. You see, he did not die. God took him straight up to heaven.Verse 25When Methu-selah was 187 years old he had a son named Larmek.Verse 26Methu-selah lived for another 782 years, and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 27Methu-selah died when he was 969 years old.Verse 28When Larmek was 182 years old he had a son.Verse 29Larmek named his son Noah. Larmek said, “The Lord has cursed the ground, and that is why we have to work really hard to get our food. But I will call my son Noah. He will make us feel better.” The name Noah sounds like the Hebrew word that means, He will make us feel better.Verse 30Then Larmek lived for another 595 years and he had more sons and daughters.Verse 31Larmek died when he was 777 years old.Verse 32When Noah was 500 years old he had 3 sons, named Shem, Ham and Jay-feth.
