The family that came from Adam

5Verse 1This is the story of Adam's family. You see, when God made people, he made them to be like himself.^{Verse 2}He made them to be a man and a woman, and he blessed them. That means that he was good to them, he made them strong and he called them humans. This is a list of people that were in Adam's family line.^{Verse 3}Adam was alive for 130 years and then he had a son that he named Seth. When Seth was born, he was just like Adam and looked like him too.^{Verse 4}Adam lived for another 800 years after Seth was born and Adam had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 5}Adam died when he was 930 years old.^{Verse 6}When Seth was 105 years old he had a son named Enosh.^{Verse 7}Seth lived for another 807 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 8}Seth died when he was 912 years old.^{Verse 9}When Enosh was 90 years old he had a son named Keynan.^{Verse 10}Enosh lived for another 815 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 11}Enosh died when he was 905 years old.^{Verse 12}When Keynan was 70 years old he had a son named Maha-lalel.^{Verse 13}Keynan lived for another 840 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 14}Keynan died when he was 910 years old.^{Verse 15}When Maha-lalel was 65 years old he had a son named Jared.^{Verse 16}Maha-lalel lived for another 830 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 17}Maha-lalel died when he was 895 years old.^{Verse 18}When Jared was 162 years old he had a son named Enock.^{Verse 19}Jared lived for another 800 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 20}Jared died when he was 962 years old.^{Verse 21}When Enock was 65 years old he had a son named Methu-selah.^{Verse 22}Enock lived for another 300 years after Methu-selah was born, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 23}Enock was a good man who spent a lot of time with God. Enock lived until he was 365 years old, then one day, people didn't see him anymore. You see, he did not die. God took him straight up to heaven.^{Verse 25}When Methu-selah was 187 years old he had a son named Larmek.^{Verse 26}Methu-selah lived for another 782 years, and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 27}Methu-selah died when he was 969 years old.^{Verse 28}When Larmek was 182 years old he had a son.^{Verse 29}Larmek named his son Noah. Larmek said, “The Lord has cursed the ground, and that is why we have to work really hard to get our food. But I will call my son Noah. He will make us feel better.” The name Noah sounds like the Hebrew word that means, He will make us feel better.^{Verse 30}Then Larmek lived for another 595 years and he had more sons and daughters.^{Verse 31}Larmek died when he was 777 years old.^{Verse 32}When Noah was 500 years old he had 3 sons, named Shem, Ham and Jay-feth.
