36Verse 1And Elihu further continued, and said,Verse 2Wait for me yet a little while, that I may teach thee:Verse 3Having fetched my knowledge from afar,Verse 4I will speak just things truly,Verse 5But know that the Lord will not cast off an innocent man:Verse 6He will not by any means save alive the ungodly:Verse 7He will not turn away his eyes from the righteous,Verse 8But they that are bound in fettersVerse 9And he shall recount to them their works,Verse 10But he will hearken to the righteous:Verse 11If they should hear and serve him,Verse 12But he preserves not the ungodly; because they are not willing to know the Lord,Verse 13And the hypocrites in heart will array wrath against themselves;Verse 14Therefore let their soul die in youth,Verse 15Because they afflicted the weak and helpless:Verse 16And he has also enticed thee out of the mouth of the enemy:Verse 17There is a deep gulf and a rushing stream beneath it,Verse 18But there shall be wrath upon the ungodly,Verse 19Let not thy mind willingly turn thee asideVerse 20And draw not forth all the mighty men by night,Verse 21But take heed lest thou do that which is wrong:Verse 22Behold, the Mighty One shall prevail by his strength:Verse 23And who is he that examines his works?Verse 24Remember that his works are greatVerse 25Every man has seen in himself,Verse 26Behold, the Mighty One is great, and we shall not know him:Verse 27And the drops of rain are numbered by him,Verse 28The ancient heavens shall flow, He has fixed a time to cattle, Yet by all these things thy understanding is not astonished,Verse 29And though one should understand the outspreadings of the clouds,Verse 30Behold he will stretch his bow against him,Verse 31For by them he will judge the nations:Verse 32He has hidden the light in his hands,Verse 33The Lord will declare concerning this to his friend:
