1Verse 1God spoke to our fathers long ago at many times and in many ways through the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us through his Son,Verse 2whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.Verse 3He is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his nature, sustaining all things by his powerful word. When he had made purification for our sins by giving his own life, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in high places,Verse 4having become as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.Verse 5For to which of the angels did God ever say,Verse 6And again, when he brings his firstborn into the world, he says,Verse 7Of the angels he says,Verse 8but of the Son he says,Verse 9Yoʋ have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;Verse 10And,Verse 11They will perish, but yoʋ remain;Verse 12Yoʋ will roll them up like a robe,Verse 13To which of the angels did God ever say,Verse 14Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve those who will inherit salvation?
